Here's how to add us, sign in like normal, go to customize, and then add a page element. I think, it's been too long since I set mine up and my sister was right here with me walking me through it. Is that right? Anyone? Maybe there is something more specific under customize that is more along the lines of links to others' blogs. Sorry I'm not more help than that! I hope you get there....
Another helpful hint for checking all those blogs is Google Reader. Huge time saver. You can find the instructions on Megans blog which is www.familybradshaws.blogspot.com
